Camphora CH by Dr. Willmar Schwabe India is derived from the Camphor tree and is indicated for conditions involving sudden collapse, extreme coldness of the body, cold stages of fever, and Asiatic cholera. Camphora is the "first remedy of collapse" — when the patient is icy cold, pale, and prostrated but feels internal burning. It is indicated in the initial cold stage of cholera, influenza with extreme coldness, hypothermia, and fainting. It addresses the paradox of icy cold body with aversion to warmth in the initial stage, and is one of the important acute emergency remedies in the homeopathic materia medica.
