Hepar Sulphuris Calcareum, commonly known as Hepar Sulph, is a powerful homeopathic remedy prepared from a combination of calcium sulfide. Hepar Sulph has remarkable affinity for conditions involving infection, inflammation, and abscess formation, with characteristic extreme sensitivity to cold, pain, and touch. The remedy is particularly valuable in helping the body either abort infection at early stages or hasten suppuration to bring infections to a head and promote drainage when necessary. The typical Hepar Sulph patient is extremely chilly, irritable, and hypersensitive, experiencing pain that feels like splinters or sticks piercing the affected area.
